Dual Credit is a program in which an eligible high school student enrolls in a college course(s), and receives credit for the course(s) from both the college and high school.

The Dual Credit program is a joint program between NISD & Northwest Vista College (NVC).

  • NVC is an accredited school - colleges and universities that accept regional accreditation will accept the college credit earned
  • Courses are taught on HCHS campus and are aligned with college level curriculum
  • There is no cost to take these classes!!!
