Words from the Principal

We have completed the first nine weeks of this school year and it has been great to see all the hard work of students and staff. As we move through the rest of the school year, your partnership with your child’s teacher is critical. We look forward to continuing to work together to help our students make academic and social growth. If you have questions on ways to support your child’s learning, reach out to their teacher to learn ways to extend and support their learning.

This year has posed a unique challenge for all of us in and out of school. The last year and a half has created various areas for us to navigate through in education. We encourage students to continue to work not only on academic growth but social, as well. I love the following quote from Mr. Rogers, “As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has or ever will have something inside that is unique to all time. It’s our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression.”

My hope is that each day, each individual learns to realize their value. Supporting and encouraging others around you helps them to reach potentials but also shines light on us.

Safety concern: We have noticed many students on campus early in the morning before the first bell. Please note that there is NO ADULT SUPERVISION before 7:55 in the morning. We ask for students to not be on campus prior to this as there is no one to make sure that students are safe and secure on campus.
