Sunset Heights Principal Notes
11.14.2025
Important Dates
November 26, 27, 28- No School
Thank you so much to everyone who attended conferences over these past two weeks. It was truly wonderful to see so many of you and to have the chance for you to connect and discuss your childs’ growth and progress. We are grateful for your partnership and the time you take to support your child’s learning. A special thank you as well to our PTO for providing a delicious dinner for our staff last night.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to all who joined us for our Veterans Day ceremony. It was an honor to come together as a school community to recognize the sacrifices and service of our veterans. Seeing students, families, and community members united in appreciation was both moving and inspiring. The ceremony served as a powerful reminder of the importance of showing respect and gratitude to those who have given so much for our country. Thank you to our veterans, as well as their families, for their courage, dedication, and ongoing contributions to our community and nation.
Next week will be our first—and only—full week of school in November! We look forward to making the most of our time together in the coming days.
Ways to Help Others
Coats for Kids and Families
We are collecting gently worn, warm winter coats for both adults and children. Anton's cleaners cleans the coats and they are given out to those in need. You can drop coats off here at school. If you have any questions please reach out to Mrs. Thompson.
Thanksgiving Food Drive
(To benefit The Nashua Soup Kitchen)
Donations may be brought to school between November 3rd and November 18th.
The following items are most needed, at this time, at The Nashua Soup Kitchen: boxes of cereal, canned vegetables, sugar, salt & pepper, marshmallows, hot chocolate, cooking spices and canned pumpkin.
If you are able to, please consider helping us with this food drive. Thank you so much!
