AEHS WeeklyNewsletterApril 6, 2025

Good evening, Einstein Community,

We are officially into the 4th Quarter, and Spring Break is just around the corner—only a week away. This upcoming week will be a busy one for our students. Some will be participating in testing on Tuesday and Wednesday, and many of our 11th graders will be attending the NACAC College Fair on Wednesday.

We also want to share with families that our food pantry will be open tomorrow, Monday, April 7, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM. A Remind message will be sent out tomorrow morning with detailed instructions on how to access the pantry. We are here to support our families, and we encourage you to take advantage of this service if needed.

Additionally, we noticed an increase in the number of students who are consistently late to class and an increase in the number of students who come to school late in the morning, and who return to school late after lunch. Unfortunately, tardiness and the rate of absenteeism always increases when the weather gets warmer. Therefore, we will be conducting hall sweeps periodically throughout this week, and everyday after lunch. Further, when we return from Spring Break we will conduct hall sweeps every day, every period, through the end of the school year.

Please take a moment to check the information below for updates on upcoming events and happenings around the school.

Our next newsletter will be sent out on Monday, April 21, to welcome students back after Spring Break. Until then, I hope everyone has a wonderful and restful Spring Break. Take the time to recharge and enjoy a well-deserved break before the excitement and busyness of the 4th Quarter continues when we return on April 22.

Wishing you all a great week ahead and a fantastic Spring Break

Best,

Justin Krop

Principal Intern

AP/IB Testing updates (REPEAT) AP/IB Testing updates (REPEAT)

Hello, Einstein Parents, Teachers, and Students,

AP and IB exam season is quickly approaching, (April 28th through May 23rd). To help students and families prepare, we are sharing the May 2025 AP & IB Exam Schedule. After reviewing the schedule, if a student notices they have two exams scheduled at the same time, they must complete the AP & IB Exam Conflict Form no later than April 11th. Please note: If a student is scheduled to take both an AP and an IB exam at the same time, the AP exam will be rescheduled for the late testing date, and the IB exam will proceed as scheduled. Students who wish to request a late AP exam for reasons other than an exam conflict may also submit a request form; however, please be aware that late testing is not guaranteed. More information about the May 2025 AP and IB exam sessions will be shared next month. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact Ms. Lynette O'Reggio, AP/IB Coordinator.

Students and parents can confirm AP or IB exam registration status by contacting the student's AP or IB teacher directly.

Thank you,

Lynette O'Reggio, AP/IB Coordinator
