๐ Windsong Weekly: March 7, 2026
Happy Saturday Windsong Ranch Families,
The 5th annual Fire Truck Pull competition will be April 25. We are gauging interest in staff and families participating in this friendly competition. This fun activity brings the community together and benefits our Prosper ISD Special Education Department. If you would be interested in joining our team, please fill out this short form. Weโd love to see our WRE community represented!
As the weather gets nicer and we all enjoy spending a little more time outside, we want to share a few friendly reminders about dismissal procedures to help keep everyone safe and our afternoons running smoothly:
-
All dismissal changes must go through the front office.
-
Changes must be communicated before 1:30 PM.
-
We cannot accept dismissal changes after 1:30 PM.
-
Students cannot be checked out after 2:30 PM.
-
If your child is a car rider, you must use the car line for pickup.
For the safety of students and staff, we cannot release students to parents who walk up. If you arrive on foot, you will be asked to return to your vehicle and go through the car line. We appreciate your understanding and partnership in helping us keep dismissal safe, organized, and smooth for everyone.
Have a great weekend! We'll see you back at the Ranch on Monday.
Together we Prosper,
Michelle Qualls

โญ Important Notes
Gum at School
To keep our classroom clean and focused on learning, gum is not allowed at school. Gum can be distracting, messy, and difficult to clean from floors, desks, and furniture. If a student chooses to bring gum to school, it will be thrown away, and repeated incidents may result in additional consequences. Thank you for helping keep our classroom clean and ready for learning!
Walk Your Wheels
โข Improve pedestrian safety
โข Reduce congestion during arrival and dismissal
โข Prevent accidents and near-miss incidents
New signs will be installed at pedestrian entrances and near bike rack areas to clearly communicate expectations. We ask parents to please review this expectation with students who ride to school. Our goal is education and safety as we work together to protect all students.
Thank you for your partnership in keeping our campuses safe.

Diverse Abilities Night: Showcase Your Strengths!

You will need to set up a table to display any strength, hobby, talent, or even collections (music, dancing, arts and crafts, Legos, video games, Pokรฉmon cards, stamps, coins, etc..) This event builds confidence, social skills and connections.
When: March 26, 2026 | 5:00โ6:30 PM

Together We Champion
Together We Empower
Our district technology coach spent time on campus partnering with 3rd - 5th grade teachers to explore new ways to design assessments and effectively use the resulting data to drive instruction. These collaborative learning opportunities help teachers refine their practices, make informed instructional decisions, and ensure every student receives the support they need to grow and succeed.
