OLVCS Updates
September 25th, 2025
Dear OLVCS Families,
Tomorrow we have Dollar Dress Down Day for the Walk-A-Thon, if your student is attending the Memorial Service, they can wear their school uniform or church appropriate clothes, and change when they return to school.
As you are aware the PA state budget has not passed, what you might not be aware of is that many of our text books are purchased through state funding. We have reached out to textbook companies, and have been able to get online teacher access for many of the series. These subscriptions contain the student pages and other materials that we are able to print. As we receive information, I will pass it along.
The 2025 Walk-A-Thon is quickly approaching and we are dedicated to our goal of raising $200 per family (100% participation). Please be mindful that all of these funds go directly to our school and your children. Today, you will receive a total of what your family has contributed toward your $200 as of Wednesday morning. We ask that all money be returned by October 1st, or submitted online by midnight October 1st for classroom and individual prizes.
Thank you for your support.
Make it a Great Day!
Samantha
