CHILLY DAY, WARM STORY! Even with the recent deep freeze, these students found that one good way to stay warm is getting lost in a great book! There’s nothing like a little Vitamin D and a good story to brighten up a winter afternoon. Even better, this book was written by an MPE second grader. Scroll down to read more about our very own student author!

The Livingston High School Women in Business club hosted an inspiring evening featuring a panel of four trailblazing female leaders who shared their professional journeys, challenges, and successes. The guest speakers included the Senior Vice President of Global R&D at Unilever, an Executive Director at Forbes, a Senior Specialist with the Environmental Group at Crum & Forster, and a Real Estate Lawyer.

Students remained fully engaged throughout the event, focusing on critical professional topics such as networking, work-life balance, the wage gap, and the importance of self-advocacy. The high level of engagement was a testament to the speakers' insights and the students' dedication to "knowing their worth." This event serves as a powerful stepping stone for these young women as they prepare to lead the companies of the future and, eventually, return to LHS to inspire the next generation of students.

Livingston Public Schools strives to respond to concerns and/or questions as quickly and effectively as possible. In a school system, as in any organization, the “chain of command” refers to communication levels of authority in the school district. The philosophy behind the chart in the link below is to refer community members to those people in the organization who can best solve any concerns or questions that may arise, and then direct them to the appropriate people if issues are not able to be effectively addressed at the first level.
