🥳Welcome Pirates !!🥳
Dear Providence Families,
As we begin this new grading period, let’s work together to start strong and keep the momentum going! Consistent attendance, arriving at school on time, completing assignments, and maintaining open communication between home and school are all important pieces of student success. Thank you for your continued partnership and for trusting us with your children each day. Together, we can make the second nine weeks a wonderful time of growth, achievement, and discovery for our Providence Pirates!
Breast Cancer Awareness Day – Friday, October 23: We invite all Providence Pirates to wear PINK on Friday, October 23, as we recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Day! We are excited to welcome Liz Hurley to PES as she joins us in our celebration. This is a special opportunity for our school community to come together, spread awareness, and show support for those impacted by breast cancer. Let’s turn Providence pink! Please see the flyer below for additional information.
Red Ribbon Week – October 26-30: We will also celebrate Red Ribbon Week October 26-30! This is an important opportunity to encourage our students to make healthy choices, practice positive decision-making, and understand the importance of taking care of themselves and their futures. We encourage families to join us in reinforcing these important messages at home. Be sure to review the flyers below for more information about our upcoming activities and ways to participate.
Thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and involvement in your child’s education. When families and schools work together, our students have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. Let’s make these next nine weeks our best yet!
With gratitude,
Arlandra Wheeler

🚌Morning Drop-Off Procedures🚗
- Our morning carline opens at 7:15AM this week. Please follow the green route on the map below if your child will be arriving via car in the mornings.
- Car riders should ALWAYS enter and exit cars on the passenger side. This applies to morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up, PreK, and late arrivals.
- The yellow line is our bus lane. Students may not be dropped off in this area.
- PreK students will be dropped off in the front of the building near the PreK entrance (teal line on the map). Parents must walk their child to the doors and wait for your child to be let in at 7:45. Please heed to the instructions of traffic personnel and do not block any lanes.
- Carline closes at 7:55. If you arrive after 8:00, please come to the front of the building, escort your child inside and sign them in with front office staff. Children may not sign themselves in.
- Students who walk to school must live within a 2 mile radius of our campus. Students deemed walkers may not be dropped off via car on or near campus. Any student arriving to PES via car must go through the car rider line.
- Breakfast is served in the classroom each day beginning at 7:45AM. Instruction begins promptly at 8AM. If your child arrives after 8:00, they must be signed in by an adult at the front office. Please ensure your child is at school on time and ready to learn each and every day. Attendance is one of the most vital keys to your child's academic success.
