🌟 Holidays Around the World 🌎

Our third grade students participated in a Holidays Around the World rotation on Monday, December 22nd, where they explored how different countries celebrate the holiday season through short, engaging activities. As they rotated through stations, students created mini wreaths inspired by Costa Rica, painted rangolis to learn about Diwali in India, made gingerbread men connected to German traditions, designed holiday cards inspired by England, explored winter traditions from Sweden, and created bookmarks while learning how holidays are celebrated during the summer months in New Zealand and Australia.

Our 4th grade students stepped back in time during an engaging Middle Ages rotation filled with hands-on learning and collaboration. Students tested their knowledge using a Middle Ages Blooket, designed personalized coats of arms to represent medieval values, and explored historical events through a Black Death trading card game that reinforced key facts in an age-appropriate way. They also created stained glass–inspired artwork and played traditional games such as Knucklebones, offering a glimpse into everyday life during the Middle Ages. These interactive stations encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of this historical time period.

🎉 Happy Retirement

Please join us in congratulating Mr. Pete on his retirement after 26 years as part of our district Building and Grounds team. Pete’s behind-the-scenes work—often before the school day even began—helped ensure our building was ready and welcoming every day. His dependability and support will truly be missed. We wish Pete all the best in retirement.

⭐💙 Counselor's Corner ⭐💙 Counselor's Corner

In January, our counseling lessons focus on responsibility and emotional management. Classes will define responsibility and use a decision-making chart to explore responsible choices. Students will also discuss strategies for managing their emotions and create a personal list of coping skills. Practicing these skills helps students master their use during times of anger, sadness, anxiety, and stress.
