Woodridge Forest Middle School - May 2025
A Final Note from Mr. Carr
Dear Woodridge Forest Middle School Families, Staff, and Students,
As I prepare to close this chapter of my journey, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for allowing me the incredible honor of serving as the Principal of Woodridge Forest Middle School for the past four years.
To the parents and families, thank you for trusting me. Your support, involvement, and partnership have been the foundation of our success. I’ve valued every conversation, every word of encouragement, and every opportunity to work together toward a common goal.
And to the students, you are the reason we do what we do. Watching you grow, learn, stumble, and rise again has been the greatest privilege of all. You’ve reminded me time and time again why this work matters. Continue to LEAD the WAY in everything that you do. Though I may be leaving my role as principal, the impact you’ve had on me will remain.
Thank you for four extraordinary years. It has been a true blessing to serve this school and this community.
Sincerely,
Dan Carr

Meet Our New Admin!
Mr. Jeffrey Reece - Principal
I have been at Porter High School for over 16 years. I am excited about working with your students and helping them be as successful as possible. I have 19 years of experience in education along with 15 years in retail management. I have been married to my wife Kelly for 32 years and have three children and three grandchildren. My door is always open, and I would love to discuss how we can make your student successful.
“Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best you are capable of becoming.”

Mr. Anthony Anderson - Assistant Principal
Hello, Falcons! My name is Anthony Anderson, and I’m honored and excited to serve as an Assistant Principal at Woodridge Forest Middle School. WFMS has been "home" since the beginning of my journey in education, where I’ve proudly served as an English teacher for the past five years. I graduated from Sam Houston State University—Eat ‘Em Up Kats!—where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Master’s in School Leadership.
My ultimate goal is to provide ALL students with the opportunities, resources, and support they need to reach their fullest potential and chase their biggest dreams. I truly believe we have the best students, staff, families, and community here at WFMS, and I’m looking forward to building strong and lasting relationships where every Falcon feels seen, supported, and inspired.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever have any questions. I’m always happy to help. Let's SOAR, Falcons!

Falcon Fine Arts
On Saturday, April 26th, the WFMS Advanced Theatre students showcased two student written plays at the NCISD Fine Arts Festival. The first show, "Little Women", was written/adapted by 8th grader, Amina El Germai. The second show, "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder", was written by 7th grader, Evan Aguilar. The students performed wonderful shows for the community and were able to showcase their creativity and their ability to work as a team. We applaud these students and are so proud of them for their continuous hard work!
