Mission
The mission of George Bannerman Dealey is to provide an exemplary education that develops and empowers all students to become productive citizens in our global society.
As we turn the calendar and say Hello, October!, there is something special about the beginning of a new month. It gives us an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come, celebrate the progress we are making, and approach the weeks ahead with renewed energy and gratitude.
At Dealey, our students continue to Explore Deeply and Thrive Globally, and I am grateful for the many people who work together each day to make our school such a special place to learn and grow.
Celebrating Our Custodial Team
This week, we are especially excited to recognize National Custodial Workers Recognition Day on Friday, October 2!
Our custodial team does so much more than clean our building. They help create the safe, welcoming, and beautiful environment our Dragons experience each day. From preparing our campus before students arrive to caring for our classrooms, hallways, common spaces, and grounds, their work touches every corner of Dealey.
Their dedication is an important part of The Dealey Difference, and we are incredibly thankful for all they do behind the scenes to support our students, staff, and families.
We encourage our Dragons to take a moment this week to say “Thank you!” to our custodial team. A kind word, handwritten note, or simple expression of appreciation can mean so much.

October brings cooler days, changing seasons, and another month filled with opportunities to learn, connect, and grow together.
As we begin this new month, let’s continue showing kindness, extending gratitude, supporting one another, and making our Dealey community a place where everyone feels valued.
