Important Nurse News
Carroll Elementary Families,
I wanted to share with you that I will be resigning from the nurse position at Carroll Elementary leading into the break. I had an unexpected opportunity to fill the school nurse position at my son’s school.
While my new role will be near my child and family, I will truly miss my CES family. I feel privileged to have served your children’s health needs while at school. Thank you for trusting me with your precious little ones and for all the support you’ve provided me.
These little dragons are a wonderful group of children and I will miss them so much. Please say “hi” if you see me out in the community.
I will be planning for a smooth transition for the future Dragon Nurse. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
I will cherish the next weeks with you all.
Sincerely,
Ashlea Stickane, BSN, RN

IMPORTANT MORNING DROP OFF ASK....
Thank you so much for doing your best to get your students to school on time each day. We know traffic has been challenging lately, and we truly appreciate your continued effort.
Beginning in January, our staff will come in at 7:35 so they can be ready to welcome and support students by 7:40. Our doors will remain open until 7:40; however, if you arrive after that time, please park and walk your child into the office. Please DO NOT drop your child off if the door has been closed. This helps us ensure the safety of every student. To help the morning run smoothly, if no adult is available to open your car door, please encourage your child to exit the vehicle on their own. This small step really speeds up the line and keeps things moving. ( On occasion if there is a bus not running or an accident that backs up our line, we will keep that in mind.) Thank you again for your partnership and for helping us start each day safely and on time. We truly appreciate you! Together, we can make this happen! Dragon Love, SW

Please DO NOT drop your children off before 7:20. At 7:20 the cafe doors will open. Please have your children stay in your car until we are able to supervise. Also, if you are here after 7:40, we ask that you walk your child in and sign them in for the day. We really appreciate your cooperation with this safety procedure.
