Our spelling bee was postponed due to students being sick and unable to attend school the day it was planned. Our rescheduled date for the school-wide spelling bee is on Friday, January 23 during the last period of the day (1:37-2:45).
Upcoming 9th Grade Registration
Families of 8th grade students will soon receive registration documents for high school course selection from your middle school counselors. Please review all the current PCS Program of Studies 2026-27 for more details on course offerings, course descriptions, graduation requirements, and so much more. This will help to prepare a plan for graduation and a pathway for success in the course registration process. PCS Course Level Overview will help families understand the difference between a standard course, an honors course, an Advanced Placement (AP) course, and a college level (CFCC) course and the expectations.Pender High School Middle School Transition Night for rising 9th graders is February 18 from 5:00-7:00pm in the PHS gym

Students’ NC Check-In Individual Student Reports are now available for parent and guardian review in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
Families, still need to order pictures? Our NEW Code Lookup Tool is now available. How to Order BMS School Pictures They can simply scan the QR code and follow the directions to access their child's picture ordering gallery. No need to contact Customer Service for an access code! *Student last name and Student ID number will be required for data security.* If at any time your parents or guardians have questions about the Code Lookup or are having difficulty navigating the site, they can still reach out to our Customer Service team via the Live Chat on our website, www.strawbridge.net

- Parents & Guardians - Please review our dress code policy with your child Policy Code: 4316 Student Dress Code. We had several dress code violations this week.

Families, we need your help ensuring students bring their Chromebooks to school each day. Also, we ask that non-essential electronics (Airpods and Beats headphones) be left at home. If your child has a lost or damaged Chromebook fee, please pay that fee as soon as possible.

School Hours: 7:30-2:45pm (students are tardy after 7:30am)
Students exit bus/car at 7:10am (buses utilize the back of school/cars utilize the front of school)
For the 2025-26 school year, breakfast and lunch will be provided, at no cost, to all students at our school

Here Comes the Bus will be available again this school year. Please remember that it is not accessible during the first few weeks of school. Schools will receive an email when Here Comes the Bus is available. Links to access information to distribute at open house is below:

For students who walk home from school - Students MUST have a walker form signed in order to walk home from campus. If you are new to BMS, or if you have not completed a walker form, please send a note with your child for them to walk home on the first day of school.
