Transfer Applications for 2025-2026 are located on the school website and must be completed by every transfer student each year. Please be sure to visit cowan.k12.in.us to complete the digital form or to download a printable form. Forms are also available in the school office.

The Big Idea is a program that may offer meat, fruits and vegetables, refrigerated and frozen items and/or dry goods along with other community resources. The next Big Idea giveaway will be May 15 from 5-7 p.m. Please bring bags to take food home. Please park by and enter door #5. All families with a child in Cowan Schools are welcome.

Our dumpster will be accepting CLEAN paper, cardboard, plastic jars/jugs, aluminum, steel, tin cans, and glass. Non-recyclables such as plastic bags/wraps, cords, hoses, chains, batteries, electronics, and food/liquid can't be accepted by the recycling program.

The Children’s Clothing Center of Delaware County, Inc., offers new and used clothing to Delaware County students in need. If you are interested, please contact the elementary office for a referral from the principal. The referral can then be completed and taken to the center. Hours of operation are listed on the referral form.
