April 24, 2023

Good Morning Memorial Families,

We hope that whether your vacation took you to a warmer place or to places closer to home that it was a nice pause from the day to day happenings and that you were able to rest and relax together as families. It is hard to believe that we are in the final stretch of the year, yet here we are!

We will leave the parent input form for classroom placement open through the end of the day today and then it will close as we begin to work on lists for next year. As a reminder, we cannot accept requests for specific teachers, and this form should be used if there is something you would like for us to consider that we might not be aware of. If you are the parent of a fourth grader, please know that we do not create the class lists for middle school and that is why there is not a place for you to enter information.

We want to thank our PTO for funding two amazing programs the week before vacation. The mobile planetarium was so exciting for our second, third, and fourth graders and hopefully it inspired some to look up at the sky in the evenings to notice the stars and planets. Our preschool, kindergarten and first grade students were treated to Pumpernickel Puppets and the story of Peter Rabbit. It was mesmerizing and the children just loved it. We are grateful for the opportunities that the PTO provides for us to enjoy the extra programming that would not be possible with our school budget. Thank you to our families for all of your support throughout the year.

Have a wonderful week!

Warmly,

Lauren and Wendy
