Dan Christie Elementary Families,

As we continue to grow and learn together, I want to take a moment to encourage all of us to lead with kindness, empathy, and respect in all that we do. Our campus is a vibrant place made stronger by the diversity of perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences that each of you brings.

Now more than ever, it’s important to recognize that collaboration, open-mindedness, and mutual respect are not just ideals—but essential elements of a thriving academic and social community. Let’s strive to support one another, work together across differences, and create spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

This spirit of community extends beyond our campus, too. As outlined in our We Prosper strategic plan, we recognize and uplift the vital role that families and parents play in the success of our students. By strengthening these partnerships, we reinforce a supportive network that empowers students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Kindness is powerful. It can be expressed in the smallest acts—listening with intent, helping a classmate, or simply showing up for one another. Together, let’s foster an environment where collaboration is encouraged, differences are celebrated, and every member of our extended community is treated with dignity and compassion.

Thank you for all that you do to make our campus a welcoming and inspiring place for everyone.

Mrs. Wilson
Principal

Christie community members needed!

Prosper ISD's success is deeply rooted in the strong partnership between our students, parents, staff and community. To maximize the benefits of stakeholder input, we have established several committees for which interested individuals can apply. By submitting a single application, your name will be added to a pool of candidates for consideration by District leadership when filling committee positions. Fill out this application by Friday, September 29, 2025, if you are interested in serving on a committee.

Congratulations Christie Compass Award Winner

Ms. Cook is new to Prosper and with her has come a wealth of knowledge that serves our Kindergarten scholars. She brings with her a collaborative spirit that works to serve every child!

Students who are interested in learning about, practicing, and competing in these events will receive information via google classroom to prep for the events at home. In the fall we will have a Campus meet based upon what you have learned from what we shared. The 10 students in each grade level in each event scoring the highest will advance to the Competition Team.

This group will attend weekly practices, beginning in December. At the end of January, the top four (4) students in each event, in each grade level will advance to the zone meet in February.

Following the Zone UIL meet, the top six (6) students in each event, in each grade level will advance to the District meet on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

You will be able to indicate areas of interest for your student. Please keep in mind that there may be conflicts with practice and/or competition times, and it may not be possible to participate in multiple events.

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? The Prosper ISD Mentorship Program offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact in the life of a student—one conversation, one connection at a time.

Volunteer mentors will:

âś” Meet with students monthly, during the school day, for 30 minutes

âś” Serve as role models and champions for student success

âś” Help students develop confidence, character, and connection

Your presence could be the difference that helps a student thrive.
