Mrs. Blume would like to extend her sincere thanks to MEC for their generous support through the Strengthening School Grants program. This funding provided the supplies needed for students to experience the life cycle of a chicken in real time, including eggs, an incubator, and chick care materials.

Thanks to MEC’s contribution, students in Mrs. Blumes' and Mrs. Holmes' classes had the unique opportunity to witness chicks hatching right in their classrooms. At last count, the classes welcomed 25 chicks, creating an engaging, hands-on learning experience that brought science to life in a memorable way.

The Primary students and staff joined Eagle Lake and the Intermediate Schools for All Children Exercise Simultaneously this morning! The rain ended early, the sun came out and our students were able to complete warmups, do a little dancing together and walk/run laps around the track.

Thank you Mrs. Cleveland for organizing the day for us.
