Mac El and Pipe Creek - Oct. 31, 2025
From the Principal
Thank you to all the families who got up extra early this morning to help their kids get ready for the Halloween Parades!
We loved seeing all the smiling faces and the pride each student had in their costumes. These moments remind us how special it is to celebrate and have fun together.
With all the treats that were dropped off, our students are sure to head home with full hearts (and plenty of sweets!).
Wishing everyone a fun and safe Halloween weekend!

Guidance Update
Mac El
As students returned from break, classes took time to refocus through guided meditation lessons. These short, intentional sessions help students become more aware of their bodies and emotionsālearning how to calm their minds, control their breathing, and manage big feelings.
Through gentle stretching, breathing exercises, and visualization, students are discovering how to bring themselves back to a place of focus and self-control. These mindful moments not only set a positive tone for learning but also give students lifelong tools to handle stress and emotions in healthy ways.
Join in the fun!

IMPORTANT - Changes in Transportation
Contact Front Office at your child's building
If there is a change in your child's transporation, whether they will be picked up or riding a bus, it MUST be communicated with the front office. This can be done by sending a note to school or calling the office. If you call the office, please make sure you speak with a person. There is a central list at each elementary school, which allows us to check when students are unsure and the teacher may not be available. Do not just send a message to the teacher. The office MUST be notified. Thank you!
NOTE: Transportation changes should be in to the office by 2:00 pm.
Background Checks & Photo IDs
We love having you visit our schools! To ensure the safety of all our students, anyone who wishes to volunteer or have lunch with their student must first complete a volunteer background check. You can find the link under the Parent Resources tab on our website.
A friendly reminder: for the safety of our students, please remember to bring your photo ID whenever you visit the school for any reason, including student pickup, lunch, or meetings.
