Hello Navigators,

Things will be quite busy this week.

Picture Day is Tuesday, September 12. Put on your best and smile! Details about ordering pictures was sent home with students.

Back to School Night is this Wednesday, September 13th. The evening will begin with our monthly PTO meeting at 5 PM followed by a presentation in the MPR and classroom visits. Class visits will be from 6-6:30 and 6:30-7. The teachers will conduct two identical presentations so parents of multiple students can attend other presentations. Please note this event is to communicate school and classroom expectations and is designed for adult attendance.

We are conducting an election for our parent representatives on School Site Council. Please complete this form to select individuals for the council.

On 9/20/23, we will hold two meetings to discuss our Title 1 program and for updates and discussion with the principal. One will be at 8:15 and the second at 6 PM. Hope to see you there.

Mark your calendars for our Fall Carnival, scheduled for October 27th. We will need volunteers and details about volunteering will be shared soon. If you are interested in getting involved with the planning contact PTO or reply to this email message.

If you have not done so already, we need ALL families to complete the following two forms related to school meals.

Oceanside Unified School District has partnered with Care Solace to help families in need of mental health support. This services can help quickly find available services. We are so thrilled with out STEAM program. STEAM stands for Science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. We have Ms. Goulet who teaches the STEM parts of STEAM and Ms. Harmon who teaches Art. Check out the STEAM Newsletter for the latest information.
