Fun Run Volunteer Information Fun Run Volunteer Information

The Fun Run is almost here, and we’re ready to roll! We now have the full schedule for each grade and are looking for parent volunteers to help make the day run smoothly. If you can spare a little (or a lot) of time on May 15, grab a slot and join the fun. Slots will be assigned after the sign up closes.

You must have a completed background check to volunteer. If your background check through BAS is not approved before 5/13 you will not be able to participate. Here is the link to submit the background check. You must complete this form once every school year to be approved.

Reporting Absences in Parent Connect Reporting Absences in Parent Connect

Parent Connect has a quick and easy way to report your child's absence.

  • Log into Parent Connect
  • If you have more than one child, select the student who will be absent.
  • Click Report Absence on the top right corner.
  • Enter the date(s) of the absence.
  • If your child will be gone all day, check the All Day box so it applies to both morning and afternoon. Or, if your child will only miss part of the day, enter the specific times.
  • Finally select a Reason and make sure to include in the Notes why your child will be absent (illness, doctor visit, vacation etc.) If your child has been diagnosed with something specific (like COVID, strep throat, pink eye, flu, chickenpox, etc.), please mention that in Notes.

If you report an absence through Parent Connect, you do not need to call the attendance line.

Parents please pack an extra set of weather appropriate clothes in your child's backpack each day. Bathroom accidents, spills, mud puddles or unexpected messes can happen, and having a spare outfit will help keep your child comfortable throughout the day. This way, we can take care of any changes at school, and you won't have to make a trip to bring them. Thank you for your support!
