We will have school pictures on Thursday, November 3, 2022. All students will have their picture taken on this day. These pictures will be available for purchase by families (purchases are not required). Please see the information sent home or open the flyer below. A portion of picture purchases goes toward the school's fundraising efforts. The envelopes for purchasing pictures will be sent home early next week. We encourage all students to come to school prepared for pictures on November 3rd!

We are starting our JAWS (Jogging And Walking Superstars) program on Friday, November 4, 2022. This is an exciting program in which all students K-5 may participate. The students will be allowed to do JAWS as possible during their lunch recess and during wellness breaks. In addition, we will have a Family Day every Friday morning, weather permitting. On these Fridays, parents/guardians can come to school from 8:25-8:40 am and join their child on the field jogging or walking for JAWS. Please leave pets at home.

We believe that teaching children about the importance of exercise and physical activity will help them to develop a routine of lifetime fitness and good healthy habits. We will conduct the JAWS program on the field. As students complete laps, they will receive a yellow laminated card which they will turn into their teachers. Every time they complete 40 laps, they will receive prizes from the Physical Education Department.

Families, please join us on Friday, November 4th for our JAWS Kick-Off at 8:25 am on the field! The Mardon St. gate will be open at that time, and students and families can begin running or walking laps until 8:40am. We look forward to a fun-filled year of activity and success!

Sincerely, Craig Koppelman, P.E. Specialist

Families are required to check their child's health each morning before coming to school.

Any student determined to be exhibiting symptoms related to COVID-19 will be sent home immediately from the school's satellite health office. Should isolation and/or quarantine protocols need to be enacted, follow all guidelines for isolation and mandatory mask wearing periods.
