I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your incredible support and partnership in your childβs education. Your involvement, encouragement, and dedication at home play a massive role in their confidence and success in the classroom.
Education is a team effort, and your daily contributions make a profound difference. Whether you are helping with homework, reading together at night, asking about their school day, or simply reinforcing the value of learning, your actions shape their attitude toward school. Because of your dedication, your child comes to class eager to learn, grow, and face new challenges.
We feel incredibly fortunate to collaborate with families who are so deeply invested in our school community. Thank you for your trust, your open communication, and your unwavering support.
Thank you once again for being such an essential part of our team!
21st Century Clubs
The first quarter of clubs will be ending in a couple of week on October 29 and second quarter club offereings will be coming home soon. When you are looking over 2nd quarter club options with your child, please take a moment to discuss with them if they really want to attend that club, as well as, the importance of following through on committments they make. Unfortunately, we have had many students this quarter who have signed up for a club and then they decide that day that they "don't want to go". Attendance at clubs is a very important part of our grant. It is data that needs to be tracked as one of the grant requirements. When students decide not to go to club, that affects the attendance data. We are in the last year of our grant and would like to apply again, however, if our attendance data isn't meeting grant requirements, we may not be eligible for it again. This 21st Century Grant is what provides all of our after school programing, our morning club, and our Walking School Bus. Without it, we will not be able to offer any of these opportunities for students.
If you have any questions about this, please reach out to Miss Raymond at mraymond@bangorschools.net or Mr. Shepherd at ashepherd@bangorschools.net or call the school to speak to them.
