Another Great Week

I just want to say thank you to our awesome students! One of our Tribe core values we focus on throughout the year is RESPECT, specifically giving service, honor, and respect to all individuals. Our Indians have done such a good job of modeling this core value the first 5 weeks of school. We are all fallible and certainly not perfect, but in humility we will continue striving to put others first and build a tribe of respect! The end of the first six weeks grading period is next Friday, September 25th. Please remember to check grades through the parent portal and reach out to our staff if you have any questions! Work hard, be nice, have fun, and stay positive. One Tribe Rises!

Parent Portal (Grades) Instructions

At Jim Ned CISD, parent involvement is key to student success. We invite you to use the Ascender Parent Portal to monitor your child's grades, assignments, and attendance from any computer or mobile browser.

Key Features

Stay Notified: Click the Alerts tab or the Bell icon at the top right to set up automatic text or email notifications for failing grades or unexcused absences. You can also customize threshold alerts for specific grades, missing assignments, or incomplete work.
Track Progress: Check your student's dashboard to view the latest report cards, progress reports, and STAAR/EOC results.
Mobile Use: Open the portal on your mobile browser (Safari/Chrome) and select "Add to Home Screen" to create a convenient shortcut icon on your phone.
