The Johnson ECC staff spent their professional development afternoon on Tuesday at the former Abigail Adams Middle School Building. We are beginning to plan and prepare for the upcoming transition to our new and larger Early Education school building. The Abigail Adams/Early Education Facilities Committee meets the second Tuesday of the month from 3:30-4:30 via Zoom for any parent/guardian interested in attending these meetings.

Although the weather has been beautiful this week, the building can be a bit chilly, as the heat is not yet on in the building. You may want to consider sending a sweater or sweatshirt for your child to keep in his or her locker.

If your child is out for more than 3 consecutive days, you must have a doctor's note in order for your child to return to school.

TECHNOLOGY:

If you did not pick up your child's Ipad please make arrangements with the office to pick up.

Please consider sending in a picture of your family for our Family bulletin board. Do not send in a picture that you need back right away. We will do our best to send all pictures home in June 2023.

The Weymouth Child Family Community Center and it's affiliated programs are funded by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) grant from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and is administered by the Weymouth Public Schools.

The CFCE programs work to support all Weymouth families as their child's first teacher, develop community partnerships, and provide quality early educational experiences.

Parent Council is an amazing support to our Johnson ECC community. They help provide funding for Cultural Art Activities, support for STEM activities such as our aquarium, life cycle of the butterfly program, seeds and planting and support for teacher supplies in the classroom and many more initiatives. Please consider joining this amazing group of parents/guardians to support our kids!
