This packet includes important information about arrival and dismissal procedures, attendance, updates, and other helpful reminders which you will want to look at prior to the first day of school.
The Agawam Public Schools K-8 Code of Conduct can be found here.
Please take a few minutes to complete this Google form for our permissions to use student photos/videos, etc., military status, appropriate use of technology, and that students will abide by the policies in our code of conduct. *This form must be completed for each child in the Agawam Public School system. Each principal will send out their own form.
Weekly Morning Broadcasts
Phelps kicks off the start of every week with our Monday Morning Broadcasts!
In our broadcasts, we share news and announcements, celebrate birthdays, have book reviews, recognize our students of the month, and much, much more!
The weekly broadcast is shared with families at around 10:00am on Mondays (through email and text message) and is a great way for you to stay up to date with everything happening in and out of Phelps. Monthly Newsletters
Once a month, Phelps sends out its monthly newsletter for families. Newsletters list all upcoming events and showcase all of the amazing things that happen throughout the building. We also share our student and staff award winners and highlight our ongoings with pictures from our classrooms and throughout Phelps. Phelps Parent Teacher Organization
Phelps is very lucky to have a dedicated and generous P.T.O.!
The P.T.O. fundraises and supports many things for the students and staff of Phelps. This includes enrichment opportunities, field trips, field day, teacher appreciation week, and several family events throughout the year.
You can get involved in the Phelps community by coming to our monthly meetings. We meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month. This year, we will meet in the Phelps library.
