Young Elementary Parent Newsletter
October 23, 2023

Young parents and families,
Thank you for helping make our 1st ever Trunk or Treat successful! It was so much fun! We will definitely plan it again for next year.
As the weather gets cooler, please send a jacket to school with your student. It is always a great idea to put their name in the neck of the jacket. (Just in case! )
This week will finish up the 2nd Six weeks of school. I am so proud of our students and their academic growth. They are working really hard each day and it shows. Please remember that if your student is not at school, they are not learning. Attendance plays an important role in your student's academic career. The state of Texas says students must be in attendance 90% of the time to receive credit for his or her class. Please communicate with the office when your student is out. I appreciate your cooperation. Please let me know if you have any questions.

It is going to be a BRIGHT year!
