A Note From The Principal
💙 Hello Families
What a wonderful week of learning it has been at East! There are so many exciting things happening in our classrooms. Students have been engaged in Number Corner, Spanish Phonics, English UFLI, and using math in real-life situations to make meaningful connections to their learning.
A Helpful Family Tip:
Instead of asking your student, “How was school today?” try asking them to share one thing they learned in a specific subject and one thing they found challenging. These questions can help open the door to meaningful conversations and give you a better understanding of what your child is learning, thinking about, and experiencing at school.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support! Together, we are helping our students learn, grow, and soar!

🏠 Home-School Connection: Get Involved!
Families are an important part of our school community!
There are many simple ways to stay involved in your child's learning:
Read together for 10–15 minutes each night in English, Spanish, or both languages.
Practice letters, sounds, numbers, counting, and everyday vocabulary at home.
Encourage your child to talk, read, and tell stories in their home language. Strong language skills support learning in both languages.
Reach out to your child's teacher with questions, celebrations, or concerns.
Small moments at home make a big difference at school. Thank you for partnering with us!
