Parent Nestletter
April, 2026
A Message from Principal Ese:
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we enter the month of April, we are approaching an important time in the school year—STAAR testing. These assessments provide valuable insight into your child’s academic progress and help guide our instruction moving forward.
Our teachers and staff have been working diligently to ensure that all students are prepared and confident. In the coming weeks, we will continue reviewing key concepts, practicing test-taking strategies, and supporting students in areas where they need additional growth.
You can play an important role in your child’s success during this time by:
- Ensuring your child attends school daily and arrives on time
- Encouraging a positive attitude toward testing
- Providing a quiet space for homework and review
- Making sure your child gets plenty of rest and eats a healthy breakfast
We also encourage you to talk with your child about doing their best and reminding them that these tests are an opportunity to show what they have learned.
Please note that attendance during testing days is extremely important. We kindly ask that appointments and absences be minimized during this period whenever possible.
Additionally, April is the Month of the Military Child, a time to recognize and honor the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of children in military families. We are proud to support our military-connected students and will be acknowledging their contributions throughout the month. We encourage everyone to join us in celebrating and showing appreciation for these students.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child’s education. Together, we can help our students feel confident and ready to succeed.
A Message from Assistant Principal Holt:
🌟🪶 Raptor Families — PBIS Campus Expectations Reminder! 🪶🌟
We are excited to continue strengthening our positive school culture through our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports) Campus Expectations. These shared expectations help all students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn each day.
Please take a few minutes to review our campus expectations with your child and talk together about how they can show these behaviors at school every day.
✅ Be Respectful
✅ Be Responsible
✅ Be Safe
✅ Be Ready to Learn
When our Raptors soar by following these expectations, they earn recognition, rewards, and celebration opportunities throughout the year — and we love celebrating their success! 🎉
Thank you for partnering with us and helping our Raptors soar to success every day.
With appreciation,
Your Campus Team 🪶🌟
