Yotes Baseball Taking on Four League Opponents This Week
Monday the Yotes traveled to Fort Collins to take on a good FCHS team. Charlie Pearce (Old Dominion commit) dazzled, taking the rock into extra innings. Unfortunately, they couldn't get the bats going, losing 1-0. Pearce threw 7.1 innings, giving up just four hits and one run, while striking out TEN!
Tuesday the team traveled to take on Brighton High School. While the Yotes managed to outhit Brighton, they dropped this contest 8-5. Clay Hafner (pictured above and Varsity Player of the Week) led the offense, going 2-4 with an RBI.
The top ranked team in the state visited MOHI on Thursday. Fossil Ridge took the win behind a big seven run 5th inning.
This week the team will look to get back on top with three games on tap. Come check your MOHI Yotes out and remember that Thursday May 9th is Senior Night and the MOHI Booster Club Tailgate Party!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The Booster Club is run by a FUN group of volunteers who are passionate about helping to create an amazing high school experience for our students! We love and need volunteers to pull it off.
- Membership Coordinator: The Membership Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating between clubs, teams, groups, and community members that would like to join or benefit from the MOHI Booster Club.
- Cave Coordinator: The Cave Coordinator helps to ensure that our wonderful swag shack stays updated with the latest and greatest MOHI apparel.
- Sponsorship Coordinator: This position requires attention before the start of the school year, typically in July: emails, phone calls, and general community outreach to entice local businesses to become sponsors. Most of your time required is during July, August & September, and the physical maintenance of the banners throughout the school year.
If you are passionate about supporting our students and fostering community connections, we invite you to apply for these integral roles in enhancing MOHI’s school's programs and initiatives. We would like to have people fill these roles before May 1. Please contact monarchboosterclub@gmail.com to learn more!
