Welcome and Gratitude

Hello, Central Lee Family!

Welcome to the first Activities Department Update of my AD career! My name is Tyler Bryant, and I officially took on this role July 1. These updates serve as a way to foster school pride, celebrate the great things our students and staff achieve, and keep our district community updated on events in the Activities Department.

The AD position at Central Lee has been my dream job since my high school days when I walked these halls as a student-athlete. Like any position, there is a lot to learn and much more to think about and act upon—but I have enjoyed every second of it! In my short time as AD, I have received support and guidance from my fellow administrators, my predecessor (Wes McGraw), our board office secretaries, and Tina Cale, for which I am thankful. Of course, I would not be able to do this job without my supportive wife, Haley, and our three daughters.

My supporters remind me of the story of Kevin Plank, the founder of Under Armour. Plank started his clothing business with a single undershirt design in his grandma's basement. His success was pretty quick-hitting, but only due to having his family, close friends, employees, and business partners trusting him and helping him overcome numerous obstacles toward success. Today, Under Armour is a nearly $3 billion business.

That kind of teamwork is never in short supply at Central Lee. That is what makes Central Lee such a great place to work; we trust and support one another for the betterment of our students. It may not always be perfect, but we do our best and try to have fun while doing it—because that is all we can control. As an alumnus and now an employee going on seven years, I am excited and grateful to serve the district in the role of Activities Director.

Thank you, and go Hawks!
