OOSAC UPDATES

Welcome to the TSUNAA Ocean of Soul Alumni Chapter

Thank you for accepting the invitation to become a member of the Ocean of Soul Alumni Chapter (OOSAC). As a member of this alumni chapter, there will be many opportunities for the chapter and active members to help improve the overall well-being of the Ocean of Soul Marching Band. The leadership team that has been assembled, will work diligently to meet all internal and external challenges. We need ALL of our alumni to share their talents, knowledge, and expertise across all sectors. This can include, but not be limited to the private or public education sector, and/or government agencies.

• GAME DAY: October 18th- HOMECOMING GAME- VA Lynchburg @TSU Campus

• GAME DAY: November 1st- Alcorn @Shell Stadium

• GAME DAY: November 8th- Alabama State (AWAY)

• GAME DAY: November 15th- Southern U. (AWAY) (OCEAN FAN BUS AVAILABLE)

• GAME DAY: November 22nd- Alabama A & M @Shell Stadium

Kudos to the Ocean of Soul Alumni RBT Committee for selecting our 3 recipients for the 2025 band season!

• We are seeking volunteers for the 2025 homecoming experience. Please reach out to Madame President/ Joselyn Coats if you are interested.

-Provide prayer, support, eulogy, and extended care to those who are going through tough times. PLEASE REACH OUT! Ocean Support Committee cares for you! 🙏💙

• September 25th- TSU Career Expo
• December 6th- TIGER Day of service
• December 6th- Winter Gala

TSUNAA is looking for 50-60 available alumni volunteers that can assist with their Career Expo next Thursday between 7:45AM and 1:45 PM. This time frame is broken down into shifts, so you do not have to stay the entire time. Help is needed during registration, set up, guidance, and a few other areas. The event will run from 8:30 am- 1:30pm.

The Ocean of Soul Chapter is an extension of Texas Southern University National Alumni Association (TSUNAA). All Ocean of Soul Alumni events are in support of our beloved undergraduates program, THE Ocean of Soul Marching Band.
