Grandparents Day at Murchison is on Monday, September 21. If you would like to purchase a lunch from the cafeteria, please email our cafeteria manager, Ms. Mamie, with your lunch choice by September 14. That way she can ensure she has enough food ordered! The lunch choices are:

  • Orange Popcorn Chicken over Rice
  • Hot Dog
  • Turkey and Cheese Sandwich
  • Cheese Melt Sandwich
  • Cold Cheese Sandwich
Place your lunch order by emailing Ms. Mamie at Mes.Cafe@pfisd.net

I have also listed the lunch times and tables below. Visitors should plan to come early to park and be seated at their student's table in the cafeteria to greet their student by the start of the lunch time.

Crosswalk Safety Crosswalk Safety

User uploaded image
zoom_out_map

As we work to ensure a safe and orderly dismissal each day, we want to remind our walkers and bikers of our dismissal procedures.

Students who walk or ride a bike or scooter will exit the back of the building, retrieve their bike or scooter, and walk it until they have safely crossed one of the two crosswalks. The pictures below show where the two crosswalks are located. Parents who are picking up their child and have a bike or scooter should also walk alongside their child and walk their bike or scooter until they are across the crosswalk.

For everyone’s safety, students and families must remain on the sidewalk and should not walk or travel in the road. We have daycare buses that use the road behind the building, and keeping our dismissal area clear and using the sidewalk helps protect our students, families, and drivers.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us make dismissal as safe as possible for everyone. The safety of our students and families is our top priority.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping the car loop to run smoothly during dismissal. A couple ways you can help us to make it run faster:

  • Keep your car tag displayed the whole time you are in the car loop so we can help direct your child to you. Once you leave the parking lot, you can put the tag away.
  • Pull all the way up to the next open spot, even if you see your child. We will bring your child to you!
  • Make sure students are able to enter on the passenger side of the vehicle for safety.

Thank you for helping us at dismissal!
