5th Grade Newsletter

As a reminder, April 10th and 11th are now regular school days! These were put aisde as Bad Weatrher Makeup Days, which we need to use because of the Ice Week.

We are gearing up for another fabulous Multicultural Day. If your family has any artifacts you wouldn't mind sending in to help us create our displays, we would be grateful!

Multicultural Day is on April 28th, and we would send your items back home by the following day!

It's hard to believe that the end of 5th grade is so close! We always end the year with some fun activities for the kiddos to remember 5th grade and elementary school. All of the information about our end of year party and graduation ceremony will be coming soon!

Math

We are finished with our Geometry Unit and will go into Coordiante Planes next week.

Science

We will be focusing on inherited traits and structures and functions.

ELAR

We are reviewing all topics from throughout the school year.

Social Studies

We will be leanring about the Cold War, which includes the Space Race.

We have the finalized dates for when we will take our 3 STAAR tests this year. We wanted to go ahead and give you these dates so you are in the know!
