Mad Scientist Day: What a Hit!
A huge thank you to all of our teachers and parent volunteers who put together a fabulous "Mad Scientist Day" last Tuesday, October 31st. Kids were able to create robotic hands, make elephant toothpaste, enjoy a blind ice-cream taste test, and make slime. It was a messy, slimy, exciting afternoon of learning and fun.

Seeking photos of "Kids Caught Reading!"
Many students have been reading at home and school, and the culture of literacy is building up steam at RVS! Our new bulletin board display will feature "kids caught reading" around the school and at home. If your kiddo is okay with it, snap a photo of them reading anywhere and send it our way to highlight at shannonm@mpsvt.org.

MRPS PIE Family Support Fund - Please Donate or Share!
Every year, the MRPS PIE community raises money to directly support families in the Montpelier Roxbury School District. This is a meaningful way for neighbors to support neighbors and to share the love during the cold days ahead.
Our goal this year is to raise $10,000 by December 8th! If you can help, please donate here. And consider sharing this page - on social media, email, or any way you can! You might share with friends and family who live out of state, as our community has been supporting one another throughout the flood recovery, and while the need is greater, the resources may be depleting.
PBIS Highlights of the Week: Ice Cream Sundae Party to Celebrate Great Choices!
With the filling of another all-school pom pom jar, we reflected as a group before enjoying an amazing ice cream sundae party that this celebration happened as a result of our great choices. Each pom pom in that jar (almost 300 of them!) represent a good choice or kind action made by one of our students. Way to go, RVS Honeybees!
