From the Principal From the Principal

We are so proud of our secondโ€”and third-grade students for their hard work on their IREAD assessments this week! We also have a huge shout-out to our fourthโ€”and fifth-grade classes for being respectful and quiet when they had to move past a classroom with student testing. For any students who were sick this week and missed their test, we will work with them to make up the tests next week. We have less than two weeks until a much-needed Spring Break for everyone! I hope you have a good weekend, and remember it's daylight savings this weekend, so TURN your CLOCK AHEAD on Sunday and be one time on Monday!

Military Morning "High 5" Military Morning "High 5"

On March 20th, students will be greeted in the morning by members of the USAF Security Police. They will be here to give them high fives and wish them a good day! These members will come every month to say hello to our students. With the Grissom Air Force Reserve Base located nearby, it is a great opportunity to form a partnership with them. We are excited to offer our students the chance to be encouraged by our military personnel!

Attendance (765) 689-9131 Attendance (765) 689-9131

Parents or guardians must call the school attendance line when their child is absent. Call 765-689-9131 and wait to hear Maconaquah Elementary School and then attendance. Contacting the teacher is not the same as reporting it to the attendance line in the front office. When you call the attendance line to report a student's absence, please include why the child is absent, or it will be marked as unexcused. If a child is absent for a medical appointment, it is necessary to bring a doctor's note for the absence to be excused.
