I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing Holiday Break. We have one full week of school and the following is exam week. I have posted the exam schedule below as well as information on exam exemptions. The semester is nearly ended so be sure to stay focused and finish strong!

The student council spent some time with the Aspen preschool on prior to the break. They read a story, colored some pictures, and gave out treats.

Students have the opportunity to be exempt from semester exams when they meet the established requirements. Please remember that exam exemptions are a privilege, not a right. We encourage you to review the requirements outlined in the attached information. Additionally, please take note of the guidelines (attached below) regarding which types of medical absences count as days/hours absent.

Forms are available in the office and are due by 3 pm on Friday, January 9th.

New this year is the Patriot Press website where you can access the digital version. Go to

We encourage both parents and students to read the student handbook carefully. It provides important information about school expectations, rules, and available resources, helping everyone understand their rights, responsibilities, and how to create a safe, respectful, and successful learning environment together. All school districts in Michigan are required to share the Sexual Harassment and Information Guide with students in grades 6-12. I have attached the information guide as and some additional informaton including the districts Title IX coordinator information and specific school policies related to sexual harassment and sexual assault.
