Hirsch Core Values
Self-Discipline, Optimism, Altruism, and Respect
Principal's Corner
Dear Hirsch Hawk Parents and Guardians,
Next week we are excited to welcome you to Curriculum Night at Hirsch Elementary! This evening is a wonderful opportunity for you to learn more about the curriculum, instructional tools, and quarterly assessments that guide your child’s learning each day.
The rigor of elementary school has increased tremendously over the years. What our students are expected to know and do now looks very different from what many of us experienced as children. Why? Because we are preparing students not only for middle and high school, but also for jobs and careers that don’t yet exist. That means the partnership between home and school has never been more important.
When you attend Curriculum Night, you’ll gain valuable insight into how you can support your child’s learning at home and better understand the systems we use to help every student grow. Together, we can ensure that our Hirsch Hawks are prepared to SOAR—demonstrating Self-Discipline, Optimism, Altruism, and Respect in everything they do.
This year’s theme, “Unlocking the Magic Within,” reminds us that every child has unique gifts waiting to be discovered. With your support, encouragement, and presence, we can help unlock that magic and set each student on the path to success.
We look forward to seeing you at Curriculum Night and partnering with you in this important journey!
With appreciation,
Principal Patterson
Trunk or Treat/ Fall Festival
PTO needs your help to make this year's Trunk or Treat a night to remember for our young Hawks! Please consider volunteering for a festival game, setting up a trunk or donating items to make it a fun-filled safe night for our students!
We are also collecting bags of candy for the big night! The Hirsch House that collects the most bags will win a popsicle party and bonus house points! Let the games begin!
