5/3 - PTA Zoom General Meeting 6:00 pm

5/6 - Spirit Day - Vacation Day

5/24 - Kindergarten screening and Orientation night 5-7pm (details coming soon)

5/30 - Memorial Day- No School

Mondays - School starts at 10:35 am and dismissal is 3:45 pm.

Tuesday - Friday - School starts at 9:00 am and dismissal is 3:45 pm.

It's Staff Appreciation Week!

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is celebrated in the first full week of May, from May 1 through May 8 in 2022, and is when teachers and support staff get the extra credit they deserve. The big day is Staff Appreciation Day on May 5. Teaching is known to be a time-consuming and challenging profession, so this week is our chance to say thank you to those that play or have played such a huge role in our lives. Who doesn’t have a fond memory of a teacher or support staff who inspired us in some way? The easiest and most impactful way to show gratitude is as simple as a handwritten card. We love our staff and are so grateful they are here supporting our children with heads full of dreams!

Volunteer to be a WatchDog

DEE is accepting WatchDogs for support in our school. If you are interested in making a positive impact on the staff and students of Donald Eismann please e-mail assistant Principal Brett_mcdaniel@sumnersd.org and get registered TODAY! We are needing dads of great students to help us with crossing guard and recesses!

DEE Dog of the Week - Teacher Addition

Meet Mrs. Shula's dog GUS! He is a 4 year old English Mastiff weighing 215lbs! His favorite toy is his green jolly ball or any stick he can find. He loves doing his daily perimeter work with his momma every morning and evening. He loves to talk when he isn’t getting the attention he thinks he deserves. Gus is named after Seattle Supersonics legend gus williams who led the Sonics to the world title in 1979.

Next up is Mrs. Zahnow's dog Atlas! He is a 3 year old Husky whose favorite snack is cheese and eggs. He loves to nap, go on walks and look out the window. Atlas once rescued a cat (in a dream) from a burning building and delivered it to safety 2 miles away.

Finally we have Mrs. Knutsen's dog Buckley! He is a 6 month old Bernese Mountain/Yellow Lab mix. Buckley enjoys peanut butter, car rides, barking at the Sumner High School band as they march by his house and sunbathing on the deck. A little known fact is Buckley has been invited to compete in the annual Buckley Log Show this summer as a log rolling dog! Good luck to Buckley and his sponsor Blue Max Meats!
