April 5, 2026
Happy National Assistant Principalโs Week to the absolute best leadership team I could ask for, Mrs. Garcia, Mrs. Mills, and Mr. Berry.
Year two together, and I can say with complete confidence that this work would not be what it is without each of you.
You are more than assistant principals. You are my sounding boards, my thought partners, my voices of reason, and unwavering advocates for your teams and for our entire Parker community. You have consistently helped hold me up when times have been extremely difficult and I had to be strong for the entire campus. There is not a single decision made on this campus that does not carry your insight, your perspective, your support, and your commitment to doing what is right for students.
What makes this team special is not just what we do, but how we do it. We lead with trust. We challenge each other. We stay grounded in vision, not just for where Parker is today, but where we are going for years to come.
In the West Division, we stand on the pillars of Connect, Coach, and Command, and each of you brings that pillar to life in a way that elevates our campus every single day.
Bryan, Connect.
You are the heartbeat of relationships on this campus. The way you connect with students, staff, and families builds trust and stability, especially in moments when people need it most. You bring a calm, steady presence that reminds everyone that they are seen, heard, and valued. Because of you, our culture feels strong, supportive, and human.
Jennifer, Coach.
You lead with intention and clarity when it comes to instruction. You push thinking, refine practice, and hold the line on what strong teaching and learning must look like for our students. Your ability to develop others, to meet teachers where they are and move them forward, is what strengthens the instructional core of this campus. Because of you, our classrooms are growing stronger every day.
Gina, Command.
You lead with confidence, structure, and decisiveness. In a fast-paced environment that requires urgency and precision, you ensure that systems are tight, expectations are clear, and execution is strong. You do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, and you do it with purpose. Because of you, our campus runs with focus and direction.
I also want to acknowledge something that does not go unnoticed. Change is hard. The pace, the urgency, the constant push for better is not easy. Yet each of you has embraced this work with a growth mindset, adapting, stretching, and leaning into the vision even when it feels uncomfortable.
That is leadership. That is commitment. That is what makes this team UNDENIABLE.
I am grateful for each of you, for your leadership, your honesty, your resilience, and your belief in what we are building together. Parker is better because of you. I am better because of you.
Thank you for all that you do, every single day.
TP4 - we are stronger because we lead together.
New Art Installation at Parker ๐จ
This February the Parker Art department partnered with the Contemporary Art Museum and resident artist, Janice Warren to create an installation for our campus. Students in the Mixed Media Club designed, painted, and collaged on a forgotten piano.
This installation will remain on campus under the blue stairs near the front entrance. We hope this bright and beautiful instrument brings joy to everyone who sees it!

Westbury Gents & Sapphires Support Pre-K Egg Hunt
Due to inclement weather, the event was moved indoors to the cafeteria, but that did not stop the fun. Our students had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed the experience.

Congratulations to Parker Elementaryโs 2026 Name That Book Teams! ๐
We are so proud of our Parker students who competed in the Name That Book competition. These students worked incredibly hard, reading and studying 25 different books in preparation for the event.
Their dedication, teamwork, and love of reading truly paid off!

STAAR PEP RALLY ๐
We will be hosting a pep rally on April 8th for our 3rdโ5th grade students as they prepare to take the STAAR test. Our goal is to motivate students, build their confidence, and ease any testing anxiety with a fun and energizing event.
The Houston Texans will be joining us for this special occasion! Students will get to see Toro, the Texans mascot, along with a Texans player, who will help get everyone excited and ready to do their best.
The Texans will be taking photos and/or videos during the event and have provided a media release form. If you would like your child to participate, please complete the form using this link or by scanning the QR code on the attached flyer.
In addition, all grade levels are encouraged to show their team spirit by wearing Texans gear on April 8th.
Performance Uniform Drop Offs
As a reminder, students are expected to come to school in their full performance uniform with their instruments on any day they have a performance during school. With our instructional schedule, students will not have time to change or pick up items that are dropped off in the office. No exceptions will be made, and uniforms are required to participate in performances.
Starting this week, April 6, our office staff will not accept uniforms or instruments that are dropped off for performances. We understand that this is the beginning of the strings recitals, so please make sure your child comes to school fully dressed and prepared on their recital day.
Thank you for your support!
