Dear North Star Community,

What a fantastic week on campus! A massive thank you to the entire Fall Festival team for hosting such a wonderful event. From fun games and great food to amazing music and a spectacular sunset over the field, it was an unforgettable evening. Fall Festival and Night at North Star are such incredible ways to launch our school year and bring our community together. A deep, heartfelt thank you to both organizing teams for their hard work and dedication!

On Tuesday night, I had the pleasure of attending the district’s English Reclassification Ceremony, where 10 of our North Star scholars were honored! These students were celebrated for their extraordinary achievement of maintaining their primary language while demonstrating full fluency in English. During his address, Superintendent Dr. Rubalcaba reminded our scholars that their multilingualism is truly their superpower and he couldn’t be more right. Please join me in congratulating our newly reclassified scholars on this milestone!

As a reminder, this weekend is a three-day weekend. I hope your family has the opportunity to relax, recharge, and find joy together!

Sincerely,

Erin Kekos

Principal, North Star

Why do YOU give?

Whatever your reason, we thank you!

  • I don’t want to bake. So here’s the money I would have spent on cupcakes.

  • I don’t want to sell wrapping paper. Or cookie dough. Or gift cards. Or anything else that requires me to become a part-time salesperson.

  • I’m making this donation to express my appreciation for having nothing to buy, sell, deliver, organize, or awkwardly ask family and neighbors to purchase.

The Direct Donation Campaign really is the easiest way to make a big impact. Every dollar goes directly toward the programs, experiences, and resources that help our students Think. Create. Climb!

Thank you for helping us reach 100% participation!
