Dear North Star Community,
What a fantastic week on campus! A massive thank you to the entire Fall Festival team for hosting such a wonderful event. From fun games and great food to amazing music and a spectacular sunset over the field, it was an unforgettable evening. Fall Festival and Night at North Star are such incredible ways to launch our school year and bring our community together. A deep, heartfelt thank you to both organizing teams for their hard work and dedication!
On Tuesday night, I had the pleasure of attending the districtâs English Reclassification Ceremony, where 10 of our North Star scholars were honored! These students were celebrated for their extraordinary achievement of maintaining their primary language while demonstrating full fluency in English. During his address, Superintendent Dr. Rubalcaba reminded our scholars that their multilingualism is truly their superpower and he couldnât be more right. Please join me in congratulating our newly reclassified scholars on this milestone!
As a reminder, this weekend is a three-day weekend. I hope your family has the opportunity to relax, recharge, and find joy together!
Sincerely,
Erin Kekos
Principal, North Star
