Livonia PTSA Council 1st Annual Chili Cook off!

Saturday January 10th 2015 from 11:30a.m.-4:00p.m.

Franklin High School

Come join your Livonia PTSA Council in raising money to help ALL of our local PTAs. A $5 admission gets you refreshments and unlimited chili samples from all of our entrants (while supplies last). Bring some extra cash for hot dogs, baked goods, and raffles.

Potential Entries: All entrants MUST be male and current PTA members (if you’re not in a PTA yet, it’s really easy and inexpensive to join one NOW). Entry fee is $10 per chili (to be brought to the event in a crockpot, ready to eat).

National PTA Smart Snacks in School Webinar December 3, 7:30 - 8:00 pm

The "Smart Snacks: Fundraising Successes" webinar, hosted by the School Nutrition Policy Fellow at National PTA, will inform state and local leaders on successful fundraisers that meet the Smart Snacks guidelines. Join us for this brief overview and learn:

• Examples of successful healthy and non-food fundraisers
• Existing resources from National PTA and other organizations regarding Smart Snacks compliant fundraisers

Spread the word with other local and state PTA contacts who would benefit from this information. We look forward to having you join our webinar on improving child nutrition and school fundraisers through the Smart Snacks guidelines.

Leader in Me workshop has been rescheduled FOR JANUARY 24, 2015

ATTENTION - ANOTHER DATE CHANGE, due to a conflict with the Blessings in a Backpack fundraiser. We will see you in January, please bowl on November 22 - for a good cause!

Join the Livonia PTSA Council for a presentation by Dr. Terry Taylor, Cooper Upper Elementary Principal and Leader in Me pro for an informative workshop all about the Leader In Me program.
