Victor Elementary Weekly Smore
Week of September 7 through September 11, 2026
Principal's Message
ππ Victor Elementary Weekly Message ππ
Dear Victor Viking Families,
Happy Sunday, Viking Families! ππ We hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful 3 day weekend. As we begin another week at Victor Elementary, we are excited to share a few updates and reminders with our families.
π A Special Visit from Dr. Troy Brown!
This past week, Victor Elementary had the honor of welcoming Dr. Troy Brown, Superintendent of the San Joaquin County Office of Education, to our campus! Dr. Brown visited Victor to see firsthand the amazing work our teachers and students are doing in early literacy and learning.
Throughout his visit, Dr. Brown had the opportunity to step into classrooms, see our Vikings engaged in learning, and speak directly with our students and staff. Our students were especially excited to meet him and share a little bit about what they have been learning!
One of the highlights of the visit was seeing Dr. Brown join in on the fun and jump rope with our 1st- and 3rd-grade Vikings! πͺ’π It was such a special moment for our students and a wonderful reminder that learning, relationships, and joy all go hand in hand.
Dr. Brown left Victor with his heart full, and we were incredibly proud to showcase the wonderful things happening at our little school.
πΈ Victor Vikings in the Spotlight!
The San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) captured some wonderful moments from Dr. Brown's visit! Families can visit the SJCOE Facebook and Instagram pages to see photos and highlights from his time with our Vikings.
π Parent-Teacher Conferences Are Coming!
Parent-Teacher Conferences are right around the corner! Teachers will be reaching out to families soon to schedule conference timeframes.
Conferences are an important opportunity to learn about your child's progress, celebrate their successes, discuss areas for continued growth, and strengthen the partnership between home and school. Please be on the lookout for communication from your child's teacher regarding scheduling.
β° Attendance Matters β Every Day & Every Minute Counts!
As we continue into September, we want to remind our families that attendance matters! Being at school every day and arriving on time helps students build strong routines and ensures they do not miss valuable instructional time.
Even arriving just a few minutes late each day can add up over time. Please help your Viking start the day successfully by making regular and punctual attendance a priority.
Thank you for partnering with us to make every school day and every minute count!
Thank You, Viking Families!
We continue to be grateful for the support and partnership of our Victor families. There are so many wonderful things happening across our campus, and we are proud of the learning, growth, and joy we see from our students each day.
Together, we will continue creating a school where every Viking can learn, grow, thrive, and shine!
Go Vikings! ππ
Warmly,
Mrs. Berry

Complete Your Online Data Confirmation Today!
Classes who complete 100% participation receive a party pizza/icecream
Families, please take a few minutes to complete Online Data Confirmation (ODC). Completing ODC ensures that your childβs school has current contact information and all required annual forms for the school year. Each classroom with 100% participation will receive a classroom incentive (pizza party, ice cream party etc)
To complete ODC:
- Go to the Aeries Parent & Student Portal and log in. If you do not have a log in, please follow the prompts to create an account. If you need assistance with this, please call our school's office.
- Once logged in, if you have not completed the ODC a pink banner will appear across the top of your screen prompting you to complete the process. Follow the prompts and select "Finish and Submit" to finalize the data confirmation.
If you need clarity on the above steps, or would like to see screenshots, please view this document or call our school's office.
Every completed confirmation helps our school stay connected with families and better equips us to support students. Thank you for partnering with us and helping us start the year strong!
