Setting the mood

The wind whistled as I rode my bicycle on the busy streets full of tourists. I rode on and on as I came to a stop to see some galleries of beautiful paintings. Then I rode on and stop to grab an espresso from Starbucks and continued my journey. My next stop was deliA*s to get me a nice top for my final destination. I finally then arrived at my destination as it towered above me in its magnificent beauty. I went on the stairs and go to the top. I looked at the wonderful day and city and wondered what tomorrow must be like.......

Ideas of how Paris can be used as a setting in the future

The sound of birds chirping and the smell of coffee brewing woke me up that fine morning. I went to have a cup of coffee at Starbucks and relaxed in the sun. I got up and left my home to discover this beautiful city. My first stop was at a glorious museum. I looked at the Mona Lisa and many more unique pieces of art. Then I hurried on to the lush green gardens with tall statues and lots of greenery. I finally arrived at my last stop before lunch and more discovering, a tall tower that has been standing for more than 100 years. I inhaled its beauty, got me some lunch, then went home to rest thinking of the party tonight.

A few Paris qoutes

Quote from Ernest Hemingway

“If I walked down by different streets to the Jardin du Luxembourg in the afternoon I could walk through the gardens and then go to the Musée du Luxembourg where the great paintings were that have now mostly been transferred to the Louvre and the Jeu de Paume. I went there nearly every day for the Cézannes and to see the Manets and the Monets and the other Impressionists that I had first come to know about in the Art Institute at Chicago. I was learning something from the painting of Cézanne that made writing simple true sentences far from enough to make the stories have the dimensions that I was trying to put in them. I was learning very much from him but I was not articulate enough to explain it to anyone. Besides it was a secret. But if the light was gone in the Luxembourg I would walk up through the gardens and stop in at the studio apartment where Gertrude Stein lived at 27 rue de Fleurus.”
