GRAMMAR GAZETTE
May 2026 Edition

Thursday, May 14, 2026
Dear Parents and Families,
As we approach the final stretch of the school year, I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continued support of our teachers and staff. My first year at Nova has been incredibly rewarding, and I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such an engaged and supportive community.
We recently concluded Staff Appreciation Week, and I want to extend a special thank‑you to the Nova Parent Teacher Organization for the delicious meals, snacks, and treats provided throughout the week. Your efforts truly uplifted our staff and contributed to a memorable celebration.
Thank you for your partnership and commitment to our school.
Spring Regional History Bee Results
In other news, students advancing in the History Bee competed in the April Regional History Bee. In the 5th grade competition, Nova students swept the medals, with Lochlan Elverum Buxton winning gold, Scottie Steele finishing second for the silver medal, and Cameron Dodd rounding out the podium with the bronze medal! In the 4th grade competition, Greta Oberlander placed 3rd and William Munson placed 2nd.
This performance qualifies multiple students for the IAC National History Bee May 21-25, in Orlando, FL. See pictures below.
