Important Information

PTC's in February --You should be getting an invite from your child's advisory teacher about what time is best to meet. Given all the information we will be going over, it is best to schedule and in person PTC. We understand that schedules are tight so if a Google meet is needed, we can work with that as well.

Level All -- During parent teacher conferences, parents will be asked to sign the Next step plan for their child which is a part of the graduation process, even as a freshman. This plan is to help students connect high school classes with goals beyond high school. There are different activities that students will be doing to help them see their own strengths and create goals to work toward.

Honor Roll, Amazing Tiger & Perfect Attendance -- January 22nd during lunch students will receive tickets for a treat during lunch if they qualify for one of these awards. Students must be in Advisory to receive the ticket that gets them a treat.

Pizza for Attendance -- Students who have 5% or less missed school will receive a ticket for a free personal pan pizza from Pizza 9.

AHS Chromebooks are the only device that are approved while at AHS. We understand that students like their personal devices, however we cannot be held responsible if anything happens to them at school and we cannot block content that is not aloud on school computers. Thank you for respecting this rule.

CALL CENTER INFO

Please remember that the Call Center is unable to excuse period tardies during the school day, for those are now the responsibility of the student. However, you may contact your students’ teacher directly if you have questions pertaining to any period tardies. We appreciate your understanding!

Report Cards will be sent home on Friday the 9th. You can be looking for those in the mail.

Career Expo will be held on January 23rd. We will have different businesses set up to talk to our students about opportunities in different career fields in the community. Students will go by grade level to visit the expo.

Prom will be held on April 25th. If a student have an absence rate above 10% they will not be allowed to purchase or attend prom. Students still have time to get this rate down so they can attend.

Google classrooms are there to help students stay current when they need to be out, they are NOT meant to replace the teaching in the classroom.
