Hello Marcellus Families,

Welcome back and to the 4th quarter in the 2025/2026 school year. I hope everyone had a relaxing Spring Break making lots of memories with your children.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION! If you know of a 5-year-old who is looking for an exceptional school experience please have their parents come to Marcellus Elementary on Thursday, April 16th at 5:30pm. They will learn about our kindergarten programs and what needs to be filled out and returned to enroll their child.

April and May bring with them state testing for our 3rd through 5th graders. PLEASE, make sure that your child(ren) is getting enough sleep the night before the test, arrive to school on time so that they can receive an extra delicious hardy hot breakfast from our lunch ladies, and have time to settle into their day before showing the world how smart they are.

In May we will hold our annual Wildcat Walk. More information on the walk will be coming home with each child in the next couple weeks. This fundraiser helps us provide our students with extra fun activities throughout the year and keep our Friday Cats Cart loaded with fun prizes for each child.

April 27th: Hearing Screening for Kindergarten, 2nd graders, and 4th graders (IF you do not want your child to have their hearing screened please call the office at 269-646-9209 by Friday, April 24th before 2:30pm)
