Rockville Elementary School first-grade classrooms welcomed a special guest on Wednesday, April 8. WTWO Meteorologist Jesse Walker stopped by to give our students an exciting, hands-on lesson all about the weather.

During his visit, Mr. Walker brought the science of meteorology to life right before our students' eyes. The special presentation included weather instruments, helping the students understand how weather patterns work and the students learned valuable safety tips on what to do and how to stay safe when severe weather strikes.

The visit wrapped up with a question and answer session during which the students had the chance to ask their questions.
