26-27 Lower School News - Week 3

From the Director of Lower School
September 4, 2026
At St. Luke’s, we know that children grow in different ways at different stages—and our program is intentionally designed to meet them where they are while helping them take the next step.
In Early Childhood (PK3–K), learning begins with wonder, curiosity, play, and discovery. Our youngest learners are developing confidence, independence, social skills, and the belief that they are capable learners whose ideas matter. Through hands-on experiences, inquiry, creativity, movement, and meaningful relationships, they begin to see themselves as curious, capable, and ready to learn.
It is one continuous journey—honoring who our students are today while helping them grow into who they are called to be.
And throughout every stage of the journey, parents are important partners in helping our students grow. Whether joining us as a Mystery Reader, supporting classroom traditions, celebrating learning, or reinforcing growth at home, our families help make the St. Luke’s experience even more meaningful.
