Seeking Volunteers: Book Drive for the Ross Library

We are seeking volunteers for the Ross Library Mother's and Father's Day Book Drive. This year's theme is "Celebration OVERDUE!" since the last two book drives were canceled due to COVID.

Our goal: Raise $10,000 for Ross

Our mission: Celebrate our new library!

How the Drive Works:

We are asking families and community members to donate $25 to purchase at least one book for Ross in the name of a loved one or favorite teacher. We'll then send the honoree a letter informing them of the gift in their name. We'll place a special Ross bookplate inscribed with the honoree's name in a book purchased for the library, and Ross students will enjoy great books for years to come, a win for everyone!

How You Can Help:

To make this drive a success, we need the Ross community's help in two ways:

  1. Sign up to volunteer at book drive tables on Friday, April 29 (on the playground) and Saturday April 30, Sunday May 1 (in the neighborhood) and/or Monday May 2
  2. Donate $25 to purchase a book in honor or in memory of someone special to you.

Contact this year's committee chair, Charles Francis, with any questions about volunteering or other ideas at ccfrancis@aol.com.
